We were only a guest on the terrace, but it was great.

Breathtaking. Always happy. I could spend the whole day there. There are also very nice hiking trails. It is definitely worth visiting Bad Nauheim.

Simply delicious, coffee and cake. And the Kaiserschmarrn simply great. Anyone in Bad Nauheim should definitely try it out.

The view is really nice for the 2 stars. I cannot recommend eating and drinking. We didn't order anything special, only french fries, but they were inedible and the homemade lemonade was a very strange mixture on a base, I guess.

A wonderful way up there, a really great view and super delicious cake.

The store is completely closed, including parking spaces and viewing area, as if it were a restricted military area. So that nobody gets the idea to park there or enjoy the view. Says a lot about the operator, I think. It used to be pretty mediocre, but that's just a mess!

Super great view. Very delicious cake eaten in the restaurant. But the staff is not on the ball at all. Too bad the restaurant could run better with the right staff.

Very nice there, waiting times are a bit long at peak times, which is understandable. Prices are definitely fine and the ambience is very chic. If I were in the vicinity more often, I would definitely stop by regularly!

I have now been to the Johannisberg restaurant several times and each time it was a complete disappointment. The first time we were not even served, the second time the service was just unfriendly and it looks like you are not welcome. The first drinks were brought before the other part of the group ordered and the hot chocolate was only lukewarm. There is only one star because of the view, which unfortunately the unfriendly staff cannot compensate. Especially since the prices make a different promise than second class service.

Beautiful view of Bad Nauheim. Well worth the 15 minute walk from the city center. Their lemonade for 4.5 euro is a bit expensive for my taste but the view and relaxing atmosphere make it worth it. Service was very good.

Great view over the city of Bad Nauheim out into the Wetterau up to the Vogelsberg. Beautiful hiking trails around the Johannesberg. Emperor Franz and Sissi enjoyed it very much. And long ago, Celts and Teutons used to cultivate their customs.

Very nice as inside, as well as the terrace with the magical view over the city and surroundings. Fine cuisine with courteous staff. Always happy to come back, it really is a very special location.

It is very nice with a great view in clear weather. I have not even eaten any coffee, because it is a bit too expensive for me personally. It is recommended, on sunny days, to put on his hiking boots, to hike up to the Johannesberg and then to the café for a well deserved break, with a view over the beautiful Wetterau

Hell of a walk so take a cab if you have mobility issues. If you go early only hot drinks available. Great views of Bad Nauheim

Unfortunately, rather below average. Ambience is certainly stylish and the view just in fine weather a feast for the eyes. We were here for brunch. Service of the staff and quality of the buffet but still much air to the top. The price is 35 € in an upscale segment. You can expect a fancy buffet. Service is rather unmotivated. Food is ok, but not exceptional. Price-performance is just wrong in this respect.

Nice place to be Great wide view

Best former hilltop hunting lodge becomes restaurant of choice. What a fantastic place! A true gem tucked away above a vineyard. Difficult to find on any satnav, but well worth the long trip. This most commanding view was already enjoyed by Elvis Presley in the 50s when he served his military time in Bad Nauheim. Not just the view is absolutely fantastic also the food is unexpectedly great. The nine hotel rooms invite for a romantic night. A true Hessen Hightlight. After finally finding our way up to the top without any navigation at that point we arrived after 10 PM and even though they were closed they were kind enough to fix us some salads. What a treat! Truly recommendable place. Will come back soon.
